Did Nicki Minaj’s Breakup-Inspire ‘Pinkprint Movie’? Watch!

Watch Nicki Minaj’s Breakup-Inspired ‘Pinkprint Movie’

Nicki Minaj unveiled her epic 16-Minute Short Film Based on “Pinkprint” movie which weaves together three ‘Pinkprint‘ tracks – “The Crying Game,” “I Lied” and “Grand Piano” – to create one epic music video to tell the story of a fracturing relationship. The short films, and many of The Pinkprint’s more downbeat tracks, are reportedly inspired by the rapper’s breakup with longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels. Reports say that The Pinkprint Movie suggests that Samuels cheated on Minaj, which caused their split, and that Samuels is “despondent” after their 12-year relationship ended. The Pinkprint was released on December 15, 2014, by Young Money, Cash Money and Republic Records.

Feel free to tell me the tracks you love on the album.

Voiceover Talent Tips

Identify Your Voiceover Successes

Everyone is good at something, so discover the things at which you excel, then focus on your talents. Give yourself permission to take pride in them. Give yourself credit for your successes

Be Thankful

Be thankful for the voice that you have A lot of the times, at the root of insecurity and lack of confidence is a feeling of not having enough of something, whether it’s emotional validation, good luck, money, etc. By acknowledging and appreciating what you do have, you can combat the feeling of being incomplete and unsatisfied. Finding that inner peace will do wonders for your confidence.

Be Positive

Look in The Mirror and Smile While Vocalizing or Doing Tongue twistersStudies surrounding what’s called the “facial feedback theory” suggest that the expressions on your face can actually encourage your brain to register certain emotions. So by looking in the mirror and smiling every day, you might feel happier with yourself and more confident in the long run.

Exercise and Eat Healthy

Exercise raises endorphins and makes one feel happier and healthier. It is certainly an easy and effective way to boost your self-confidence.

Build Your Own Voiceover Self-Confidence Blueprint

So many people focus on what they don’t want. But that’s no good because all it does is build the ‘blueprint’ for how you don’t want things to be. If you were throwing darts, you’d need to focus on the bulls eye – not on all the places you don’t want to hit.

You want to focus on jobs you want to get. Voiceovers that you are right for and not things that you can’t possibly do.  If the audition calls for a basso bass voice don’t audition if you have a high tenor voice.

Build a Blueprint of What You Want to be and follow it.

  • How you will appear to others who come in your presence.
  • What kinds of equipment you will buy for your home studio.
  • What kinds of jobs you want to do in the future.
